Poppyfield Rider’s Code of Conduct

I understand that the riding school will make decisions based on information I give them and agree to always be transparent and volunteer information about: – My abilities and riding experience – Any previous riding accidents – Any medical condition(s), including any hidden disibility, which may affect my ability to ride or to be able to understand and follow any instructions given I accept that the riding school may refuse my request to ride, for safety and operational reasons. I understand that instructions are given for my safety and agree to follow any given to me by staff and instructors at the riding school. I reserve the right not to ride a horse allocated to me but understand that this may forfeit my ride and charges may still be applicable, as per our Cancellation Policy. Children are at particular risk around horses, I agree to keep any children that I amrwsponsible for under close supervision, when they are not being instructed by the riding school. As a guardian, I agree to accompany and children under the age of 16. I agree to: – Not enter the arena or mount my horse unless told to do so and to dismount immediately when told to do so – To ensure gates are closed behind me and not left open – To be polite to other riders and staff

Cancellation

I understand that group lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice remain payable and that private/semi-private lessons remain payable irrespective of notice; as per the Cancellation Policy. I agree to make payment at my next lesson

Declaration

I confirm that, to the best of my knowledge, the details given are correct and I will notify you as soon as is reasonably possible should this change
I have read the Poppyfield Rider’s Code of Conduct above and I understand that riding, at any standard, has inherit risk and I may fall off and could be injured. I accept this risk and agree that the riding school will not be liable for injury or damage to property unless it is caused by their negligence
Where I am signing on behalf of a minor, I have explained the Poppyfield Rider’s Code of Conduct to my child and they understand how it applies to them.
I have read and understand the Lesson Booking and Cancellation Policy and agree to abide by it.
